The LEMA Institute Ministry Training is organized around three tracks:

TRACK I: Complete Online Ministry Training includes the following:
 

• Basic Certificate in Ministry Leadership

• Basic Certificate in Biblical Counseling

• Certificate in Christian Leadership

​

While the Basic Certificates introduces the learner to the fundamentals of Christian Counseling and Ministry leadership, the Certificate in Christian Leadership prepares the learner for leadership in a Christian Community. This course will be helpful to students who want to gain an understanding of what counseling and leadership is all about and how that knowledge inter-plays with real life situations in ministry within the church or within a para-church organization.

 

All courses are designed to be biblical, practical and relevant so that the student will be able to apply what she or he learned, not only in ministry but also in the student’s day to day walk with God.

Students who have successfully completed the three foundation courses (Basic Christian Counseling, Foundations of Leadership and Biblical Hermeneutics) will be awarded the Basic Certificate in Ministry Leadership.

TRACK II:  Online/Residency Ministry Training includes the following:

 

• Diploma in Christian Leadership

• Diploma in Missions and Discipleship

• Advanced Certificate in Trauma Counseling

​

This track is for students who want to become ordained Pastors, church planters and missionaries or those who are already serving in these positions but want to be better equipped for their callings. These courses offer an in-depth study of God’s word, theology and pastoral as well as Missional disciplines.

​

The Advanced Certificate in Trauma Counseling is for those who want to serve as or are already serving as Teachers, School Administrators, Community Leaders and pastors. This course equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary for them to serve as Counselor to those who have experience the trauma of wars, violence, conflicts and rape so that they may be healed and live normal lives.

All courses in Track II require physical face to face training with our high quality teaching faculty. This will be done through lectures and practical sessions at our study centers. All exams for students in this track are highly supervised using proctors to ensure compliance with our biblical standards of integrity and accountability.

Track III: Transfer Students: This track is for graduates or students of other training institutes who want to transfer their credits to a program of Study at LEMA.

​

Have you done some ministry training in the past or are you doing one now but wish to transfer to LEMA? At LEMA, we value your past accomplishments in ministry and education. We would like to give you credit for what you have done and shorten the duration of your program by ensuring that you do not repeat courses that you have already completed.

 

At LEMA, we tailor your program of study to your needs, previous training and experience. The Academic Board admits students through this track on a one-on-one basis.  This track offers admissions into our Certificate and Diploma Programs.

 

Our Academic Dean or an Admission Officer will walk alongside you through the admission process. At the completion of the admission process, you will be given a curriculum specially designed for you, so that you may complete your studies in a timely manner and flourish in your ministry. Admission Policy Disclosures

 

Tuition: There is no tuition fee. All programs of study are offered free to the students. However, every student is required to pay a Technology Support Fee (TSF) of $50 USD towards the maintenance of our Technology Infrastructure and the Study Centers.
 

Withdrawal Policy: The Technology Support Fee/Donations made are non-refundable.

Accreditation Disclosures

The LEMA Institute awards religious certificates and diplomas. These programs are designed to meet theological and vocational needs of pastors and the Church and were not intended for accreditation by any state or federal accrediting agency.

Hence, the programs offered at the LEMA Institute are not accredited by any State or Federal Accrediting Agency. However, the programs are designed to meet the standards of certificate and Diploma programs of the best theological institutions in the world.
