Christianity is exploding in Africa. Unfortunately, the lack of opportunities for higher education have left the church with many untrained leaders. It is believed that more than 70% of ministry leaders in Africa do not have any formal ministry training.
The result is that even while the African church grows in number, it has not developed its capacity to produce revival missionaries to impact the world.
Another effect is that the ethics of ministry remain at its lowest ebb. Therefore there is the need to provide accountability mechanisms and short-term on the job training opportunities that will enable these leaders to improve their knowledge of the Word and flourish in their ministries.
LEMA Institute has been established in response to these needs.
