Fear Not

This past year was unlike any I have experienced in my years on this earth. Here in the United States, we saw a resurgence of racial and social injustice, political unrest, and a pandemic that took the lives of thousands and disrupted our lives in ways we couldn’t imagine. On a personal level, I had ten members of my family and close friends go to be with Jesus in Heaven. There were many times when I wondered (and to be truthful, questioned) why God would allow all of this to happen. Perhaps you had the same thoughts?

How do we process all of this? How do we continue living in the midst of such trouble and chaos? We as God’s children can go to His word for the answer.

In Isaiah 40:10; God gives us a comforting message.

“ So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.

My friends, while we do not know what the future holds, we do know who holds the future. We are in God’s hands, and He is in control. Have faith, stay strong. Rest in Him, and He will give you rest.

Blessings to you all;
