Nigeria Under Attack.

Dear Gracious and Loving Heavenly Father,

Our hearts are broken by the news of the terrorist attacks on your children in northern Nigeria this past weekend. Lord, we know that your heart breaks for them even more as their Creator.

We pray that you would intercede on behalf of our helpless brothers and sisters and that the women and children that have been taken would be returned to their families. Grant them peace and comfort during this time of sorrow as they mourn the loss of those whose lives were taken.

Dear Lord, we ask that you would soften the hearts of those who carried out this vicious act and that they would be brought to justice.

We know that you are in control of all things, and we earnestly plead for an end to the violence in Nigeria and other parts of your world.

We lift this up in the Almighty name of Jesus.

Amen.
